RUMFORD – Jean Soubble has joined Jackie Moore and Karen Welch as a certified mammography technologist at Rumford Hospital.

She was certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. To qualify Soubble passed a test comprising several areas of expertise in performing mammograms.

Certification insures that the technologist has the initial training and continuing education that qualify her to assure a high quality image as well as provide patient education and assessment. Documented continuing education is required for the renewal of the technologist’s certificate.
