FARMINGTON – Singer Rebecca Hayden will give a recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, in Nordica Auditorium at the University of Maine at Farmington, accompanied by her stepmother, pianist Patricia Hayden.

In their third collaboration they’ll perform folk, classical, sacred and popular songs, spanning several centuries and four languages. The program will include Handel’s “Wher’ Er You Walk,” a set of French folk songs by Canteloube, songs by Hugo Wolf and two Italian songs by Rossini.

Hayden also will sing spirituals such as “Ride on King Jesus” and popular works by Jerome Kern and Harry Burleigh. The program will conclude with familiar light music such as “All the Things You Are” and “The Way You Look Tonight.”
