CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Franklin Community Health Network’s 16th annual Health Care Golf Classic will be Monday, July 14, at the Sugarloaf Golf Club.

The beneficiaries will again be the Healthy Community Coalition and the Martha B. Webber Cancer Awareness Fund.

This year’s golf classic festivities will begin with a breakfast for all players, followed by 18 holes of tournament play at the No. 1 rated golf course in New England, a luncheon, awards ceremony and raffle.

The tournament is a four-person scramble. Anyone is welcome to participate as part of a team or as an individual. Individuals who register will be assigned to teams needing members.

Participants will have a chance to win a new 2003 Pontiac Grand Am in the Hole in One contest sponsored by Hight Chevrolet-Geo-Pontiac. Tournament awards will be given for both men’s and women’s first place and runner-up low gross and net scores.
