LIVERMORE FALLS – Erlon Rose of Livermore Falls, a veteran of World War II, will be grand marshal of the annual Independence Day Parade in Jay and Livermore Falls, representing all those who served in that war.

The parade will be held, as usual, on Thursday, July 3, and will step off at 5 p.m. after beginning the line up at 3 p.m. at Ranor Inc.’s parking lot. All floats and vehicles will line up at Jay High School.

Special features this year will include an appearance by the Brunswick Naval Air Station Color Guard and bagpipers Rocky Bay Pipe Band.
