LIVERMORE – The Livermore Public Library will be hosting a story hour on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., starting on Tuesday, July 15, and ending on Sept. 2.

The story hour will be held at the library at 22 Church St. Young children preschool up to age 6 are welcome to join in and share a time of reading and fun.

Piano concert

RANGELEY – The Rangeley Lakes Association will present pianist Phil House at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at the Church of the Good Shepherd.

House plays classics, Broadway, country, gospel, ragtime and old-time tunes. House taught himself to play piano at an early age. He attended Westminster Choir College and later went to Nashville where he played professionally before returning to Auburn.

Kathy Haley, a well-known vocalist in Lewiston and Auburn, will accompany him.

Tickets are $7 and will be available at the door starting at 6:30 p.m.
