1920 – 2003

LEWISTON – Annette L. Turgeon, 82, of 17 Mt. Hope Ave., Lewiston died Tuesday, July 1, at Central Maine Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born in St. Juste, P.Q., on Nov. 11, 1920, the daughter of Uleric and Melina (Grimard) Charland. She received her education in the Canadian school system.

She was employed as a nurse’s aid at the Marcotte Nursing Home until her retirement in 1972. She was the widow of L. Paul Turgeon whom she married on May 30, 1948 and who died on Dec. 24, 1996. She was a parishioner of Sts. Peter & Paul Church. She loved camping, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane Labbe and her husband Richard of Wales; and her companion, Roger Beaulieu of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by one son, Marc Turgeon of Lewiston on April 7, 1972; by two brothers; and three sisters from Canada.
