LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen will begin their 6 p.m. meeting Monday night with a bus tour.

Billed by Town Manager Alan Gove as a “moving meeting,” the board will tour Moose Hill and Haines Corner Roads, both of which are in need of repairs, and will visit the village portion of Park Street to discuss sidewalks.

At 7 p.m. they will open their regular meeting to discuss the Gazebo with members of the Gazebo Committee followed by a discussion of library funding.

A recent altercation involving flags in the Gazebo caused hard feelings and questions about who is in charge while the town has recently discovered the library trust is not producing enough income to support the building.

Several suggestions were made at the last meeting about how to reduce expenses so the library can remain open to the public.

The board will also form a committee to study the dispatch situation, appoint a new director to the SAD 36 Board, review bids for property at 90 Main St. and discuss borrowing in anticipation of taxes.

Other items include a review of the phone system and a signing quit claim deed for Parkview.
