FARMINGTON – There will be a Family Fun Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at the Farmington Fairgrounds.
It’s sponsored by LEAP Inc. Admission is free. Tickets for games will be 25 cents each. There will be activities and games for all area children under the age of 10.
A highlight will be a professional magic show by Almodarr the Great from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. He has been entertaining audiences for more than 30 years. More than just a magician, Almodarr also is a storyteller, comedian, juggler, fire-eater, balloon artist and illusionist.
Activities will include a dunk tank, a grab bag table and a cookie walk. Lunch and snacks will also be available at the fairgrounds.
Any proceeds or donations will benefit LEAP’s expenses for items not covered by Medicaid.
LEAP, which stands for Life Enrichment Advancing People, is a private nonprofit agency serving western and central Maine. The agency provides individualized and small group services.
