1942 – 2003

LEWISTON – Jeanne M. Atkins, 61, of Summer Street, Auburn, died Friday, July 4, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born March 25, 1942, in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of Alfred and Helen (Greene) Jolin. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed collecting Beenie Babies, refunding, antiquing, playing Nintendo, and her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Atkins of Auburn; four sons, Owen, Earl, Jason, Wayne; four daughters, Tonya, Tammy, Carrie, and Julie; five brothers, Robert, Jimmy, Lauren, Donald, and John; four sisters, Thelma, Marlene, Brenda, and Gail; nine grandchildren, Tasha, Jamie, Derrick, Kayla Jean, Michael, Kristen, Nichole, Christopher, and Mickey; one great-grandchild, Jeramyah; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and all her adopted kids.

She was predeceased by her parents.
