1932 – 2003

LEWISTON – Rosalea S. Farnum, 70, a resident of 381 Webster St., Lewiston, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 8, at her residence.

Born in Turner, Nov. 5, 1932, the daughter of Raymond and Peggy (Knight) Sennett, she attended Turner schools and was a 1950 graduate of Leavitt Institute.

Following graduation, she was employed as head of the mimeograph department at Bates College from 1950 to 1967. She was also employed as an executive secretary at Dunlap Insurance and for 18 years cared for her mother. She later was employed as a hostess at the Center Street Burger King from 1985 until her retirement in 1995.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Farnum of Lewiston, whom she married, Dec. 5, 1952; one brother, John Sennett of Raleigh, N.C.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Ray, Roger (Pete) and Robert Sennett.
