JAY – A Mass of Christian Burial with full military honors was held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at the St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, preceded by prayers at the Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Officiating was Father Richard Senghas. Eulogy was given by Andre Ouellette. Hymns were sung by the St. Rose Resurrection Choir accompanied by Therese Therrien. Military units were under the direction of Richard Therrien of the VFW, Frank L. Mitchell, Post #3335, and the Lane-Dube Amvets, Post #33. Colorguard members were Eugene Pomerleau, Gerard Richards, Wayne Parker, Adrian Legere, Steve Chabot and Dick Moreau. Firing Squad members were Richard Dupont, Roland Giguere, David O. Smith, Neree Simoneau, Ray Fournier, Dick Smith and Bob Welch. Flag was presented by Don LeSuer. Bearers were Don LeSuer, Larry Brochu, Wally Tripp, Francis Therrien, Roland Therrien and Harvey Sabin. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
