ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Clarence R. Hicks, 77, of Zephyrhills, Fla., died Friday, July 11, 2003. He was born in Auburn and moved to Florida in 1985.
He was the owner of a nursing home in Fryeburg. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Zephyrhills and a former member of the First Congregational Church in Fryeburg. He was a past master of Blue-eyed Masons, a past master of Eastern Star. He was a member of the Shrine and a 50-year member of the Maine State Grange, and helped with the AA Highnooners in Zephyrhills.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Erna; a son; David and his wife Elaine Hicks of North Yarmouth; a sister, Nina Grover of Hebron; two grandchildren, Jennifer Charles of Fryeburg; and Stephanie Hicks of Saco; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Charles and Colby Charles.
