LISBON – A blood and platelet drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at the Lisbon Town Office, Route 196. Those wishing can walk in or call 353-8335 for an appointment. It is sponsored by the Lisbon Girl Scouts and the American Red Cross.

Outing tickets

POLAND – The Poland Recreation Department announces the annual ticket sales for the Funtown summer outing. Tickets will be on sale from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, and from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at the Poland Town Hall.

Cost is $6 for Splashtown, $9 for Funtown and $14 for combined. Ticket sales are open to Poland residents only, one a person per household. There are a limited number available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on July 14 were: first, Betty and Doug Sise; second/third tie, Amy McGuinness and Rosemarie Goodwin with Nancy Farmer and Amy McGuinness; fourth, Helen Little and George Vogt; fifth, Eleanor Griffin and Paul Beegel; third in B, Marlene and Conrad Violette.
