MEXICO – Funeral services for Mr Harry E. Jacobs were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the Mexico Congregational Church, Mexico, with Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiating. Organist was Mrs Beverly Cantin. Greeting was given by Rev. Viginia Snapp-Cunningham and his daughter Stefanie. Reflective music “Amazing Grace” was presented by the Sr. Choir of the church. Hymn selections included: “Blessed Be the Tie That Binds” and “Lord of the Dance.” Special music played included “Psalm 23” by Keith Green and “Always Be Your Baby” by Natalie Grant. Scripture reading was done by his son Shawn. Words of remembrance were given by daughters Shannon, Kim and Stefanie; granddaughter Brittney; and friends Roland Arsenault and Rev. Ronald Ashworth. A reception presented by the Mexico UCC Women’s Fellowship followed the services at the Fellowship Hall of the Mexico Congregational Church.
