PERU – The Families in Crisis Task Force will hold a community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, at the Rockemeka Grange, 92 Peru Center Road. The menu will include ham, mashed potato and string beans.Dessert will be strawberry shortcake. Donations will be accepted.

Quilters

MEXICO – The Mexico Historical Society will host the “Ladies of the Lakes Quilters” of Peru from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at the historical building, 3 Oxford St. They will set up their quilt frame and baste a quilt for you to observe.

Stash of Cash

RUMFORD – The River Valley Chamber of Commerce will have Stash of Cash, 30 chances to win $100 a day during the month of November. Cost will be $5 a ticket. All proceeds will benefit the River Valley Chamber of Commerce. For more information call 364-3241.
