AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday, July 23, at the American Legion Hall, Washington Street, for the annual summer picnic. Members are reminded to bring their cups and silverware.
A buffet table will be set up for the food that members will furnish. Lucien Marcoux will be in charge of preparing hot dogs and hamburgers. The group will play bingo after lunch and will furnish their own cards and other games.
Members met July 9 under the direction of the president, Audrey Fleming, with 70 present. Attendance prize winners were Ed Laine and Margaret Merrill; pot of gold winners, Erma Gagnon, George Remillard and Pearl Sirois.
Trip chairwoman Doris Michael said there were some vacancies on the Waterville, N.H. trip and the Fairpoint trip on Aug. 4.

Vendors sought
BOWDOINHAM — Celebrate Bowdoinham, the birthday celebration for the town, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the waterfront park.
The Celebrate Bowdoinham Committee is accepting applications for the event, which last year attracted approximately 2,300. Primary consideration will be given to Bowdoinham residents and organizations; however, all applications will be considered.
The committee is looking for vendors selling arts and crafts, produce, food items, as well as providing activities for children and families. Vendor space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on July 15 at the Multi-Purpose Center. North/South winners in Flight A were: first, David Lock and Rosemarie Goodwin; second, Margaret Dunlop and Anna Vitiello; third, Nick Karamessinis and Jane Fournier; Flight B, first, Nick Karamessinis and Jane Fournier; second, Doug and Betty Sise.
East/West winners in Flight A were: Luke Merry and Mike Quinn; second, Larry Holmes and Don Johnson; third, Richard Balian and Mary Leahey.
Another game will be held at the center at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 22. A partner is guaranteed.
