NORWAY – The Western Maine Art Group Cooperative Gallery will host its second reception of the season. The public is invited to meet the artists and view the new exhibit from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at the Matolcsy Art Center, 480 Main St. Refreshments will be served.

Bridge play

NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge played a Howell movement with five full tables on July 18. Pete Cummings and Richard Allen placed first; Jane Fournier and Nick Karamessinis, second; Don Johnson and Larry Holmes, third; and Adele Bendes and Marcella Allaire, fourth.

The group plays at 9 a.m. every Friday at Fare Share Commons, Main Street. No partner is necessary and snacks are available. For more information call Rowena Palmer at 743-2882.
