FARMINGTON – The Farmington man jailed after allegedly shooting his mother twice walked out of jail on Wednesday.

Joshua Osborne, 22, posted $500,000 bail in property sometime Wednesday morning, said an intake officer at the jail.

It was the first time he has been out of jail since he was arrested on July 7 after a massive manhunt was triggered when Janette Osborne, 47, was shot twice in chest as she was hanging laundry at the family’s farm. The search ended when Joshua Osborne was picked up by Industry firefighters on their way to a meeting.

On Monday, Osbourne was indicted by a Franklin County grand jury for attempted murder, criminal solicitation to commit murder for allegedly offering his cousin money to commit the murder and for felony elevated aggravated assault for allegedly causing serious body injury to his mother.

Meanwhile, Osbourne’s girlfriend, 26-year-old Donna Enman remained in jail Wednesday evening. Arrested earlier this month for hindering apprehension or prosecution, she was indicted on two new charges Monday by the grand jury including one for attempted murder and a second charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution.

The new charges caused her bail, which was initially set at $2,500 cash or $10,000 surety, to skyrocket to $100,000 cash or $200,000 surety, said Assistant District Attorney Andrew Robinson. She will be arraigned Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the district court building while Osbourne will be arraigned at a later date.
