RUMFORD – Funeral services for Rosemarie “Midge” Abbott were held 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford with Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiating. Musical selections were “It Is Well With My Soul,” “In The Garden” (Sung By Rev Cunningham), and “One More Day.” Pallbearers were Dan Moore, John Ellingwood, Gary Gurney, Jennifer Gurney, Jason Weston and Jeffrey Weston. Words of remembrance were given by her son, Dan, daughter, Christine and sister, Johanna Rowe. Committal services were conducted by Rev. Cunningham. Monica Abbott and Gary Gurney sang “I’ll Fly Away” at the committal service. Interment was in the West Ellis Cemetery in Rumford.
