NORWAY – The annual reunion of the descendants of Asa F. and Florilla (Dunham) Ellingwood will be held, rain or shine, Saturday, Aug. 9, at the home of Jerry and Linda Ellingwood, 440 Crockett Ridge Road.

Warren gathering
TURNER – The 18th annual Warren family reunion was held on July 27 at the home of Warren and Lucy Hood. The gathering included the families of the late F. Milton and Verlie Warren.
One hundred and forty people attended from Monmouth, Buckfield, Turner, Westbrook, Leeds, Greene, Auburn, Lisbon Falls, Jay, Gorham, East Livermore, Livermore, South Berwick, Gardiner, Standish, Hollis, South Portland, Lewiston, Lubec, Hartford, Winthrop and Bucksport and Brockton, Mass.
Traveling the farthest were Joe and Brent Warren of Brockton, Mass., and Jeremy Dresser from Dominica in the West Indies.
The youngest members present were Caleb and Chelsea, born on Jan. 14 to Corey and Jill Additon Freda.
The eldest member present was Art Robinson.
There were five college graduations, seven high school graduations, two weddings and seven births reported during the year.
In the absence of Helen Hadley, Marie Allen led the program. She, Walter Warren and Errol Additon gave readings. A quintet, Marie Allen, Lorraine and Katie Dunn and Karen Mathieu, presented a song. A men’s quintet, Roland, Leon, Robbie and Robin Warren, also offered a song.
Additon auctioned items to raise funds to cover the reunion expenses. Children’s games were led by Crystal and Mike Pineau and daughter, Melanie Dresser.
Next year’s reunion will be held at the home of Anna and Mark Morneau in Buckfield on July 25.
A pie-baking contest will be held next year.
Officers will be Larry Robinson, president; Lorri Additon Pelletier, vice president; Jacky Meggison, secretary; and Kathy Additon, treasurer.
