1918 – 2003

LEWISTON – Felixine G. “Betty” Courbron, 85, of 27 Burbank St., Lewiston died Friday, Aug. 8.

Born in St. Edwards, P.Q., Canada, Jan. 31, 1918, a daughter of Alexandre and Julia Coulombe Boisvert, she was educated in Lewiston schools.

Mrs. Courbron was a member of Holy Family Parish and worked in retail sales in department stores and 12 years at B. Peck’s. She loved to take trips to Foxwoods. She was married to Albert L. Courbron June 21, 1939. He died June 9, 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Dupile and husband Bradford, Pauline Gagnon and husband Henry all of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donat Boisvert and his wife Irene of Lewiston; many nieces and nephews.
