FARMINGTON – The Franklin Community Health Network has selected Mary Wells as July’s monthly-featured employee of the Stars Incentive Program. Wells is an environmental services aide and has worked at Franklin Memorial Hospital for one and a half years.
The program was developed by the network’s Recruitment and Retention Committee to show employee-to-employee appreciation for little but special things that are done for each other.
Wells received two blue star nominations for the month, with her winning blue star coming from Bill Nurse for “helping a handicapped diabetic that needed food and assistance.”
As a featured employee, Wells’ photo and biography are posted on the employee bulletin board and she received a tote bag, pin and movie pass. She will also be eligible for the annual grand prize drawing of star nominees.
As part of the environmental services team, Wells takes pride in cleaning and sanitizing the hospital to make it safe as well as attractive. “I enjoy working at the hospital side-by-side with all the wonderful people that work here,” she said.
Wells live in Wilton with her husband, Scott. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her two grandsons and camping.
