SOUTH PORTLAND – Leslie Greco-Poulin of South Portland, Mrs. Maine America 2003, will represent the married women of Maine in the Mrs. America Pageant in September.
Greco-Poulin’s year in service has begun. She is contributing her time to such causes as the Center for Grieving Children, the Make a Wish Foundation, the Barbara Bush Wing at the Maine Medical Center, the Children’s Museum and Well-Suited, which helps women dress for success.
“This is just the beginning of what I hope to accomplish throughout my year in representation,” she said.
“I am thrilled to be a part of an organization where ‘Family’ is our motto. I feel blessed to be able to represent the state of Maine on a national level and will do my best to put Maine on the mark,” Greco-Poulin said.
She is married to Norm Poulin, formerly of Lewiston.
A fund-raiser/send-off will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the Portland Eagles Club. For more information call Greco-Poulin at 799-0692 or at [email protected]. For information on the pageant, contact www.mrsmaineamerica.com or www.mrsamerica.com.
