BRIDGTON – Senior College at Bridgton has eight courses lined up for fall. Classes meet once a week at Bridgton Memorial School off Depot Street.

Most classes are limited to 12 people. To be sure to get the desired classes, observe the mail-in registration of Friday, Aug. 22. Enrollees will be notified only in the event of a problem with registration.

Walk-in registration will be accepted at the Memorial School until Thursday, Aug. 28. After that time, classes that do not make minimum enrollment will be withdrawn. Limited in-person registration will continue for remaining classes if space is available.

Classes begin Sept. 8 and run to Oct. 16. Morning classes are held from 9:30 to 11:30.

Course fees are $25 for the first course; $15 for each additional course plus a $25 annual membership fee in Senior College for the academic year. This membership fee allows members to take any of the one-day courses offered in the winter for free.

Courses for fall are as follows: Tuesdays, geology for the layman, using a computer, intermediate level, the Internet.

Wednesdays, American democracy, can it be transplanted? love our lakes, maintaining lake health, brief history of censorship.

Thursdays, successful photography, classic short stories.
