BUXTON – Isla, a Nashville based acoustic Celtic duo featuring Scottish guitarist Peter Cairney and Vermont vocalist Deborah Packard will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Saco River Grange Hall on Salmon Falls Road. Legion to host supper, dance
GREENWOOD – The Jackson-Silver American Legion Auxiliary will sponsor a supper and dance beginning with supper at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the hall on Gore Road in Locke Mills. The dance will follow until 9:30 p.m. The Two of Us: Norm and Betty DeCoteau will supply the music. Raffles and door prizes will be included. Ages 12 and up, $6; children under 12, $3.
