PORTLAND – Web developer Maria Morrissette has joined Woodard & Curran as webmaster for the firm’s information systems department.
Morrissette, a Lewiston native and 1989 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, will be responsible for maintaining Web-related content, applications, hardware and software for the firm’s Web and Intranet sites. She will also play a key role in developing the firm’s Web-based strategies.
“We’re very fortunate to be able to bring someone of Maria’s caliber on board, and look forward to tapping into her expertise and energy,” said Carson Hanrahan, vice president and director of Information Systems.
Before joining Woodard & Curran, Morrissette worked for IndyMaine, a Portland-based Web development and hosting company. There she was responsible for the spec and design, development and maintenance of several high-profile Web sites, including NewsInME.com, ExperiencePortlandMaine.com and 480Digital.com.
Previous to IndyMaine, Morrissette worked with a team of Web engineers at Macromedia in San Francisco in the initial development phases of Contribution MX and the further development and support of DreamWeaver UltraDev.
Morrissette earned a bachelor of science degree in math and computer science at Rivier College in Nashua, N.H.
