1944 – 2003

LIVERMORE FALLS – Harold R. Griffin Jr., 58, a resident of Church Street, Livermore Falls, died unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 21, at his home following a long illness.

He was born on Nov. 24, 1944, in Lynn, Mass., the son of Harold R. Sr. and Loretta LeBrasseur Griffin and attended schools in Manchester, Conn.

On July 15, 1967 he married Agnes Piecukonis in Manchester, Conn. He served in the U.S. Marines as a Corporal from 1962 to 1966 during the Vietnam war.

He worked as a manager for General Electric Co. in Lynn, Mass. He and his wife moved to Livermore Falls in 1995. He was a member of the American Legion, George Bunton, Post 10 of Livermore Falls.

He is survived by his wife of Livermore Falls; a son, Harold III and his wife Julia of Jay; three grandchildren, Jason, Theresa and Richard Griffin; a brother, Bruce Griffin of Manchester, Conn.; two sisters, Pat Griffin of Manchester, Conn., and Shirley Griffin of Ocoee, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
