VIENNA – A benefit spaghetti supper for Aaron Neal, 25, who is fighting brain cancer, will be held Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Vienna Fire Dept. Community Center. Serving times are 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m.

The menu includes spaghetti with toss salad or cole slaw, homemade rolls, beverage and pie.

Adults, $5; ages 12 and under, $3.

Giant flea market to be held Aug. 30

RANGELEY – A giant flea market will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Wilhelm Reich Museum’s conference center on Dodge Pond Road.

A variety of items will be available including clothes, housewares, jewelry, books, toys and assorted collectibles.

A large amount of children’s clothes in all sizes and styles have been donated.

Snacks including hot dogs, hamburgers, homemade sweets and beverages will also be available.

This year’s raffle is a hand knit, child’s sweater size 6-9 with a school design appropriate for a boy or girl. Proceeds from the sweater raffle will benefit the Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust Endowment Fund. The drawing will be held Sept. 28.

Money raised from the sale is used for the preservation of the museum’s collections and archival films, building repair, the salary for a summer assistant, a coordinator for the natural science programs and to provide three scholarships to students graduating from Rangeley Lakes Regional School.
