FARMINGTON – The Foothills Arts Center is seeking ideas for new projects.

The Foothills Arts Center is inviting community members, organizations, businesses, schools and churches to contribute ideas and participate in the center’s next set of projects for people of all ages.

No previous arts experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome.

The Foothills Arts Center was established in 1989 by a group of western Maine community members for the purpose of creating a community arts center and related programming, with a mission to “bring together children, adults, artists and audiences of western Maine to share the arts in an atmosphere that encourages learning, exploration and collaboration.”

“We are embarking on a new season and we welcome everyone’s ideas and energy,” Geller said. To participate in the idea-gathering, people may contact Geller at [email protected] or 778-0448 or White at 897-6773. In addition to the opportunity to share ideas by e-mail and phone, the community is invited to a fun evening of conversation, idea-sharing, dessert, and musical entertainment at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at a location in Farmington to be announced shortly.

Foothills Arts Center is a nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
