WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, for a program on the Grand Canyon. Officers will be elected.

The society observed its annual History Day on Aug. 16 at the museum building.

Paul Billings, Vicki May, Ruth Cox, Helvi Cary and Florence Merrill set up tables in the parking lot. Larry Billings supplied artificial flowers and Annella Burnham contributed two bouquets of flowers. Burnham and Mary Billings had charge of the food table.

Carol White of Bethel donated information on a Bryant Pond resident who was listed as missing in action during the Vietnam war. Elena Boyes provided an exhibit on the Liberty Ships.
