WILTON – Evangelist Wendell Calder will be special speaker at the East Wilton Union Church on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5, 6, and 7. The Hodge Family Singers will provide special music.

Meetings will be at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday.

Calder has conducted Crusades throughout the United States and Canada in a some foreign countries. He has a ministry of old-fashioned Bible preaching.

Church membership

FARMINGTON FALLS – A special membership meeting has been called at the Farmington Falls Union Baptist Church following the 9 a.m. service on Sunday, Aug. 31. An official membership list will be discussed as well as the constitution of the fellowship.

David and Maurice Hovey led worshippers in music on Aug. 24, and Donna Woerter, a missionary in Alaska, showed slides of her work there.
