1936 – 2003

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. – Ruby J. (Ouellette) Fortier, 67, of South Center St., Windsor Locks, Conn. found peace in God’s loving arms on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003.

She will be laid to rest at the side of her husband, Emile, who went to prepare a place for them in heaven on Dec. 1, 2000. On Wed., Sept 3, 2003, the day of their 48th wedding anniversary, they will once again start a life together for eternity.

Ruby is survived by her children, JoAnn M. Thompson of Somers, Conn., Thomas R. Fortier and his wife, Genie, of Concord, N.C., Paul L. Fortier and his wife, Vicki, of Windsor Locks, Conn. and Patricia A. Haglund and her husband, Eric, of Windsor Locks, Conn. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Raymond Ouellette of Calif., Shirley Cloutier of Colo., Robert Ouellette of Ala., Marge Bisson of Maine and Roderick Ouellette of Tenn.; her grandchildren, Sara, Kristen and Julie Thompson, Daniel and Paul Fortier, Paige Fortier and Courtney, Mallory, Jacob and Adam Haglund.

She is predeceased by her son, Daniel Fortier.
