1960 – 2003

LEWISTON – Holly Lynn Footman Trinh, 42, a resident of Churchill Road, Leeds, died on Aug. 31 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after a long and bravely fought battle with cancer. She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 3, 1960, the daughter of Harold and Ardis Hart Footman.

She graduated from Leavitt Area High School and continued her education through many conferences and workshops in the area of computer sciences. She was employed by the USM Muskie School in Augusta as an informational system support specialist until illness caused her retirement a year ago. She enjoyed gardening, camping, yard sales and all outdoor activities, as well as spending time with her family especially her sons Bennet and Nicholas.

She is survived by her father and mother of Greene; her two sons Bennet and Nicholas Trinh of Leeds; her grandmother Edith Lane of Lewiston; four sisters, Peggy Dearborn and her husband Dan of Wales, Karen Fitzherbert and her husband Gordon of Carthage, Elaine Wood and her husband Charles of Leeds, and Tracy Johnson and her husband Bob of Readfield; a brother, Walter Getchell and his wife Diana of Sabattus; nieces Jacqui Marton, Amber Getchell, Sarah LaBounty, Patricia LaBounty, Desiree Footman, and Danielle Wood; nephews, Jeremy Getchell, Joshua Dearborn, Caleb Wood; three grand-nieces, and her best friend Crystal Wakem of Augusta. She also will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
