Why can’t we see the Bush administration is bankrupt and is bankrupting all of us?

The presidents blind bragging egotism and denial of our own stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction isolated us from the cooperative U.N. support we need desperately to make long-range changes in Iraq. And our soldiers keep getting killed and things keep getting worse.

And what about the continuing instability in Afghanistan? We no longer hear about Afghanistan with our weakened news reports reinforced by Michael Powell’s FCC changes.

At least we have two courageous Republican Senators in Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins who aren’t afraid to challenge crazy tax cuts – putting us in deep debt – and information cover-ups.

Thank God for Bill Moyers, Molly Ivans’ columns and Dennis Kucinich, a hope for 2004.
