1941 – 2003

NORWAY – David W. Fish, 62, of Norway, died Aug. 31, at his home.

He was born March 17, 1941, in Bangor, his parents were, William S. Fish, and Phyllis (Taylor) Fish. He was raised in Jefferson, and attended school there. He graduated from the Bates College in Lewiston, and attended and graduated from the St. John the Devine Episcopal Seminary in New York State. On Oct. 26, 1968 he was married to Carolyn Welch. Following their marriage they made their home in Windham.

He was employed by Maine State Department of Human Services, and worked as a Director of Rehabilitation Services, for 33 years, retiring in 1997.

He enjoyed making quilts, doing needle work, and cats. He was an excellent cook, and loved gardening.

He has no immediate family surviving. He leaves many beloved friends and adopted families.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife Carolyn in 1997.
