1924 – 2003

STONEHAM – Milton H. Barker, 78, of Stoneham died Tuesday, Sept. 2, at his home.

He was born in Stoneham on Sept. 5, 1924, the son of Erroll and Gertrude Grover Barker. He graduated from Norway High School and had been employed at Salem Hospital in Salem, Mass. as a Nuclear Medical Technician for 35 years.

He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army Medical Corp during World War II. He married Marguerite Denis on March 3, 1990.

He is survived by his wife of Stoneham; his children, Carol Bettencourt of Florida, Scott Barker of Gray, Dianne Mancini of Florida, Steven Barker of Mass., Kara Jones of Stoneham and Kalyn Barker of Stoneham; his stepchildren, Elaina Gaudet of N. Andover, Mass., Marilyn Cacciolla of Winchester, Mass., Mary Gaudet of Mass., Walter Gaudet of N.C., and Faith DeVita of Salem, N.H.; 10 grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, John Barker of Stoneham; two sisters, Elaine Laqueux of Norway and Dorothy Morenci of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
