HUDSON, N.H. (Dow Jones/AP) – Micronetics Inc. (NOIZ) named David Robbins president and chief executive, which are positions he filled on an interim basis after Richard Kalin was killed in a car accident in early August.

In a press release Monday, Micronetics said Robbins was also named director. The company’s board size remains at three including two independent members.

Robbins, 38, was senior vice president in charge of operations for all Micronetics divisions. He also headed the company’s defense electronics group.

Nasdaq shares of Micronetics traded recently at $5.69, down 6 cents, or 1 percent, on composite volume of 12,973 shares.

The maker of radio-frequency components and equipment has an average daily volume of 26,641 shares.
