Dear Sun Spots: Your column is the first article I read every day. I cut out lots of recipes and advice tips.

Now, my husband and I have a problem. A while back, we got a wall-to-wall rug and pad as a gift. The problem is finding someone to put it in for us.

If anyone is interested, please call Hank at (207) 782-4736. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: My grandfather Max Getchell drowned on Moosehead Lake in late May of 1953. He had been staying at Camp Caribou in Ogontz (Rockwood/Moosehead Lake). Can you find me any information about this sporting camp that is no longer in operation?

Also, can you please direct me to a source that has a record of ownership through the years of individual cottages at the Etna Spiritualist Camp in Etna, Maine? I am looking specifically for Stevens, Grant, Nealley and Getchell families, who were there in the late 1800s and early 1900s. – Jackie Stoutamyer, South Paris.

Answer:
In addition to responses from readers who may know some of these you speak of, contact the Etna Spiritualist Camp at Camp Etna, P.O. Box E, Etna, ME 04434, or by phone at (207) 269-2094. You may also want to check with the local historical societies in both these areas. Also, you may be interested in checking out the following Web site which lists online real estate and public records research www.netronline.com/frameset.asp?page=Maine and these may help you in your research.

Dear Sun Spots: Whom can I contact to learn the monetary value of a 1794 newspaper? It was printed in the Portland, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Dec. 15, 1794. The four-page tabloid size document is in excellent condition. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I am seeking a calligrapher to copy a poem, which I would like to frame. I can be reached at (207) 783-1699.

Keep up the good work. Your column is very helpful. Thanks for your assistance. – P.A.M., Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: Could Sun Spots please tell me who were the three youngest players ever to be named M.V.P. of the Lewiston High School baseball team? – G. R., No Town.
