JAY – Officer Michael Pike is investigating vandalism to a grocery store and a residence.

Hannaford reported that a pane of glass in the front door of the store at Jay Plaza had been broken, Chief Larry White Sr. said.

A resident of Bucklin Drive reported that someone vandalized a neighbor’s garden and threw vegetables at the house of the woman who reported it.

The suspect or suspects then keyed her snowmobile trailer and stole a can of gas, White said.
