ANCHORAGE, Alaska – James G. Bouchard, 46, formerly of Auburn died suddenly Tuesday, Sept. 3, at his home in Anchorage, Alaska.

Born in Lewiston on Sept. 28, 1956, was the son of Gerard and Theresa Gill Bouchard. He attended Sacred Heart School and Edward Little High School in Auburn, and received his degree from the University of Maine in Orono in 1978.

He served in the U.S. Air Force, with his last assignment at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage.

A member of St. Anthony’s Church in Anchorage, he was actively involved with parish activities and volunteered his time to assist those less fortunate. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a devoted son and brother who placed his family above all else.

Besides his mother of Auburn, he is survived by his brother, Tom Bouchard and his wife, Margi of Minot; his sister, Alice Steward and her husband Michael of Burke, Va.; a nephew, Chad Bouchard of Bloomington, Ind.; and a niece, Nicole Steward of Burke, Va.
