The powers that be, government, management, the voices at the top, set the standards.

We, however, need to read between the lines, implement and follow through with common sense. In all that we do, the universal rule is to treat others as we would want to be treated if we were in their shoes. This goes with our relationships to those in positions of management and leadership, as well as for associates and those we serve and help.

The golden rule is so basic and so simple it can be overlooked. The simplicity is profound and wise beyond any human thought process. It is the foundation established by the Creator for peace and harmony on our planet.

To be the best we can be, we must love ourselves, love each other and love what we do. In so doing, we show our obedience and love for our Maker and fulfill our purpose in life. Everything else is only business or beside the point. The basic principles of love and service are the true foundation that does not fail.
