LEWISTON – The Lewiston Recreation Department Multi-Purpose Center’s Prime Time After-School Program is accepting applications for students from kindergarten through sixth grade for the coming year.
Parents should pick up an application from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St.
Paperwork must be complete before a child may enter the program. The child care program will start Monday, Sept. 15, and includes recreation, arts and crafts, physical fitness, tutoring, free play, snacks and games.
It is a city of Lewiston Community Development Block Grant assisted project with a Bates College affiliation. Snacks are funded through the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.
The program operates from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday on school days only. There is no charge. For more information, contact the Multi-Purpose Center at 784-2926, ext. 204.
