LISBON FALLS – The Marion T. Morse Elementary School and U.S. Cellular are joining forces to help keep children safe through Community Action Life Line, a public service program designed to arm local schools and organizations with free wireless phones and airtime.
Through CALL, U.S. Cellular, along with phone manufacturers across the country, will donate phones preprogrammed to 911 and one non-emergency police number to community organizations that have the potential to impact public safety – like schools, crossing guards, park patrols and postal carriers.
“We are pleased to join forces with U.S Cellular to provide our school with a means to contact emergency officials if needed while away from our school grounds,” said Carlene Iversa, school principal.
