FARMINGTON – Zach Pettit converted a pass from Jeff Beck into a goal to lift the University of Maine at Farmington to a 3-2 overtime win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle in mens’ soccer action Friday.

Rob Cloutier put the Beavers (1-1) on the board in the first half, while Beck added a second half goal to round out the tally. Seabren Reeves needed just two saves to earn the win.

Darren Belskis tallied both goals for the Owls (1-2), tying the game at the 65:58 mark of play with his second. Tim Dolly turned away eight shots in net.

Maine 2, Dartmouth 1

ORONO – Katie Hodge converted a feed from Kate Crawford dribbled to the right of the goal and blasted home the game-winner at 82:30 of the second period to lead the University of Maine to a 2-1 win over Dartmouth in women’s soccer action Friday afternoon.

Annie Hammell scored the games first goal just 31 seconds into the first half to account for the final score.

Tanya Adorno needed just three saves to record the Black Bears (4-0) fourth win of the season.

Megan Wijas drilled Dartmouth’s lone goal at 86:27 of the first half.

PRESQUE ISLE – Erin Campbell led the way with a pair of goals as the University of Maine at Farmington blanked the University of Maine at Presque Isle 5-0 in women’s soccer action Friday.

While Campbell led the Beavers (1-0) with two goals and an assist, Jodie Welch pitched in with a goal and two assists. Julia Malek and Erin Findlan rounded out the scoring for the Beavers.

Patty Boutin earned the shutout in goal with two saves, while Rachel Larlee suffered the loss behind 10 saves for the Owls (0-2-1).
