NORWAY – The Waterford Fish & Game Association is selling tickets for the 10th annual Rifle-a-Day Raffle set for October.
Paul Brook, owner of Woodman’s Sporting Goods on Main Street, said the organization will provide 31 prizes including muzzle loaders, shotguns and a variety of hunting caliber rifles to the winners.
The association limits the amounts of raffle tickets sold to 1,000, he said, and they are $20 each. Brook said winners will have their names returned to the group of 1,000 for each drawing, so there is a chance of winning more than once.
Types of guns vary and manufacturers include Baikal, CVA, Marlin, Mossberg, Remington, Ruger, Savage and Winchester.
Tickets are available from Woodman’s, Steve’s Gun Shop in Buckfield and club members. The money supports range facilities used by the association.
