RUMFORD – The following arrests were recently booked at the Rumford Police Station.

Jeffrey D. Smith, 19, of Rumford, on a charge of disorderly conduct, on Sept. 9 by officer Douglas Maifeld. He was released on $300 unsecured bail.

Edward Fitzherbert, 59, of East Dixfield, on a warrant for violation of a protection order, on Sept. 9 by officer Michael Halacy. He was released on $75 cash bail.

Michael P. Moore, 19, of Rumford, on a charge of violation of conditions of release, on Sept. 7 by officer Daniel Garbarini. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.

Arthur Muse Jr., 57, of Rumford, on a charge of disorderly conduct, on Sept. 5 by officer Douglas Maifeld. He was released on $300 cash bail.

John H. McAlister, 45, of Rumford, on a charge of operating after suspension – habitual offender status, and two warrants, one for assault and the other for failure to pay fine on a felony assault charge, on Sept. 3 by officer Daniel Garbarini. He was released on $1,319.50 cash bail.

Steve Marin, 39, of Dixfield, on a charge of allowing unlawful use of a motor vehicle, on Sept. 3 by officer Peter Casey. He was released on $100 cash bail.

Russell Gallant, 48, of Waterville, on a charge of operating under the influence, on Sept. 3 by Sgt. George Cayer. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.

Betty Salatino, 53, of Dixfield, on charges of operating under the influence (second offense) and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, on Sept. 2 by officer Michael Halacy. She was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.

Mary Taylor, 46, of Rumford, on a charge of violation of conditions of release, on Sept. 1 by officer Michael Halacy. She was transported to Oxford County Jail.

Andrew Korhonen, 42, of Rumford, on a charge of domestic assault, on Aug. 30 by officer Peter Casey. He was released on $300 unsecured bail.

Keith Provencher, 21, of Rumford, on a charge of operating without a license, on Aug. 30 by officer Peter Casey. He was released on $300 unsecured bail.

Robert J. Heath, 20, of Mexico, on a charge of operating under the influence, on Aug. 30 by Oxford County Sgt. Tim Holland. He was released on $500 unsecured bail.

Norman Johnson, 32, of Rumford, on a charge of operating after suspension, on Aug. 24 by officer Peter Casey. He was released on $300 unsecured bail.

Rhonda N. Strahm, 28, of Livermore Falls, on a charge of operating under suspension, on Aug. 23 by officer James Bernard. She was released on $500 unsecured bail.

Shane Lindus, 23, of Mexico, on a charge of operating after suspension, on Aug. 20 by officer James Bernard. He was released on $400 unsecured bail.

Jessica L. Thurston, 19, of Mexico, on a warrant for failure to appear on an assault charge, on Aug. 11 by officer Daniel Garbarini. She was released on $50 cash bail.

Richard H. Hillman, 44, of Rumford, on a probation violation, on Aug. 10 by officer Paul Casey. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.

Merle A. Lufkin, 22, of Peru, on a warrant for failure to appear for a property damage accident, on Aug. 8 by Sgt. Stacy Carter. He was released on $200 cash bail.

Brandon L. Lewis, 18, of Rumford, on charges of illegal attachment of plates, operating after suspension, false plates, failure to display current inspection sticker, and failure to provide evidence of insurance, on Aug. 8 by officer James Bernard. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.
