FARMINGTON – The Farmington Recreation Department will hold a series of meetings about the fall volleyball offerings on Sept. 23 at the Community Center.
The Co-ed Volleyball League, an entry-level competitive league for adults, will hold its organizational meeting from
6 to 7 p.m.
This league plays each Tuesday night from October to February, and any individuals wanting to enter a team should be present for this mandatory meeting.
The “Sweet” 16 Power Volleyball League will meet at 7 p.m. Commissioner Tom Bissell will review player ratings, rule changes, league fees and other relevant business for this technical league, which plays on Sunday afternoons and evenings.
Commissioner Mike Bolduc will be available at 7:30 p.m. to answer questions and discuss the fall season for the highly skilled Power Volleyball League. The Power League, formed in 1983, is the most skilled and athletic of the volleyball leagues offered through Farmington Recreation. It plays its matches on Wednesday nights.
Anyone interested in one or more of the offerings listed above is welcome to attend these important meetings.
