After reading the letter by Senate Majority Leader Sharon Treat, the senate majority leader, I had to respond (Sept. 10).

Spoken like a true Democrat. she never answered the question, which was, where was Sen. Neria Douglass for the eight hours, and why did she hold up the process without an explanation? And what about the $80,000, approximately, that that cost us? And whose to say that the issues that passed that day should have been passed?

I’ll bet 10 to one that they should’nt have! All it did was cost us more money. But of course, the Democrats answer to all our problems is to throw more money at it.
