LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education will offer a fall class titled “The History of You: The Art and Science of Genealogical Exploration.” The six-week class will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Lewiston High School.

The course will simplify the process of genealogical research and show how it can be fun and life-changing. It will include an introduction to types of records, local resources, using indexes, genealogy on the Web and military and government records.

Participants will discover how to trace immigrant origins and understand migration within the U.S. and its colonies; obtain recommendations on particular software and source materials and uncover the family history.
