PERU – The Peru School Committee will meet at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, in the library regarding their approval of all-day kindergarten classes.
Brenda Gammon, kindergarten through fourth-grade principal, said Friday that the meeting was initiated to inform parents of the kindergarten all-day session, slated to begin Monday, Oct. 6.
At their Sept. 16 meeting, directors voted 3-0 to switch from sending the youngsters home at noon to keeping them in school in the afternoon.
